this picture came at the end of a day of many beautiful scenes. in the morning I got on a ferry to Martha's Vineyard because there was a rumor of sun and warmth :-). I spent the day wandering around on the Vineyard visiting favorite spots, and, from about 11 am to noon, I did find some sun and blue sky. But besides that the day was full of clouds and very strong winds. So, I took an earlier ferry than planned from the Vineyard, and of course, as the boat left the harbor, the clouds broke in a spectacular evening sky. By the time I returned home to Bourne there was nothing I could do but go out to the Bourne Bridge and watch this beautiful sunset with the moon rising on the other side. The wind was still strong, maybe 50km +, and up on the bridge it threatened to blow me, not off the bridge, there is plenty of protection for that, but off the walk and onto the road, where all the cars and trucks were streaming onto Cape Cod at the end of the day. It was a most dramatic day, in the end, so thank you Noke, Adele, Skizo, Antonio, and everyone else who dropped by for sharing it with me. best regards, robert
