april is the cruelest month of the year, breeding
lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
memory and desire, stirring
dull roots with spring rain......

TS Eliot
The Waste Land

  1. Che nuvole impetuose poco prima del temporale....bellissimo scatto. Ciao Cri : )

  2. O forse è già passato...??.;)...grande!

  3. ...the opening lines of The Waste Land always are of a touching beauty is your dramatically wonderful picture, Robert. Take care, Adele

  4. thank you Cristina, Cinthia and Adele. the clouds were hovering over my favorite cranberry bogs, and I just surprised myself this morning in Photoshop to achieve the mixed gray scale and color. and I was very excited to find this -- -- site, which annotates the Waste Land in an understandable way. I think I will read the poem again, and maybe, for the first time in my life, understand it a little bit ! :-)) the best to all of you. robert
