hello Adele, and thank you for your thoughtful comment. I have the same kind of indeterminate feelings about it. Over everything there is bright light, but of a winter day. The sun is declining, but already the days are lengthening. It is not clear whether we are approaching the door or leaving it. It is shut, but there is a letter slot and a way to communicate. The blue color is rich, but the paint is peeling off the boards. The whole picture is framed in shadow, and sadly, the glass is broken. All that I can say is that this collection means something else -- a metaphor -- but more than that I do not know. ciao, robert
