  3. Ciao Ermanno. I should say that 1) this image is a lesson from Sile, and, there are mistakes in it. 2) you know some of the best photographers in the world. 3) you are one of the most creative ones, yourself. Now that I said all of that, I accept your compliment with pleasure :-). Robert

  5. Hi Trevor, I am very happy with imperfections, when there is beauty :-) thanks very much, and best regards, robert (ps. and now I'm going to do some experiments to see how to get rid of the "barrel" effect, because I love this one too !)

  6. Robert , I'm not good enough to find mistakes. I enjoy the light so much...and the picture , too. I come here to learn, like Ermanno...Adele

  7. ohhhhh, I never ever meant to cause any problem with my comment about mistakes.... really I was just talking to myself.....as I put the panorama together, there were some things I wanted to accomplish that I could not .... perhaps they are imperfections.... but whenever I get to this point I think about two things.....a music professor who pointed out that Beethoven consciously put "mistakes" or dissonances into his music .... and I am comforted by that, and someone who I encountered slightly at university and since did a lot of significant work on the evolution of PC and Internet technology, Esther Dyson, whose slogan is "Always make new mistakes" !! The real point of this wonderful sharing among blogs is that we all inspire and learn from each other, so thank you, Adele, for coming by. I am glad you like this picture...I like it too ! all best regards, robert
